Program/Programme: Rehabilitation of an an old industrial site / Réhabilitation d'un ancien site industriel.

Reconversion of the old boiler room of Vandoeuvre-les-nancy. There are two issues: one architectural and one urban, by transforming the deserted site thanks to a urban project and regain control of the symbolic boiler room, by establishing a new program adapted to the existing architecture. The question is to decide which element has to be preserved and how to create an adapted architecture connecting the site, the existing and the city.

Reconversion de l'ancienne chaufferie de Vandoeuvre-les-Nancy. L'enjeu est double, architectural et urbain; transformer le site déserté via un projet urbain et se réapproprier la chaufferie, bâtiment emblématique du site, en instaurant un nouveau programme adapté à l'architecture existante. Il s'agit d'établir quels éléments sont à conserver et d'adapter une nouvelle architecture liant le site, l'existant et la ville.
