Established in a historical site of Metz city, Saint-Pierre aux Nonnains, in front of its church, the project put face to face a contemporary architecture to the history. The inhabited bridge protects the garden down below and connects the historical site to a city sector separated from the city center by a busy road. The project creates a public space, a public use thanks to a footbridge associated to the research center.

Implanté sur le site historique de Metz, Saint-Pierre aux Nonnains, devant son Église, le projet joue la dualité contemporaine face à l'histoire. Bâtiment pont protégeant le jardin en contre-bas, le projet lie le site historique à un morceau de ville éloigné du centre par une route passante, en proposant un accès piéton public associé au centre de recherche.
